What is Faith Climate Action Week?
Each year, Montana IPL takes part in Interfaith Power & Light’s annual premier week of worship and action focused on climate: Faith Climate Action Week (FCAW). FCAW is ten days of activities in celebration around Earth Day. With the help of people like you, Faith Climate Action Week has reached close to involving two million people with more than 5,000 climate and Earth stewardship sermons and talks nationwide. FCAW is a period set aside to focus individuals and faith communities on the task of educating and raising awareness about the connection between our faith, values, and climate change. This is also a time to put faith into action and commit to an activity that will raise awareness about the importance of Earth stewardship and caring for creation. Montana IPL offers this program of resources to our individual and community partners — resources to assist in identifying meaningful activities that work both with our partner’s own resources and with their goals.
