Session 4: Climate Resilience from a Justice Perspective
Join this session to explore how communities can center justice when building climate resilience. The first part of the session will include a panel discussion with policy and climate program leaders, centering the reality historically disadvantaged communities are at higher risk for climate change impacts and must be centered in creating solutions. The Session Panelists are Karyn Bigelow from Creation Justice Ministries, Delmar Gillus Jr. of Elevate, and Elena Grossman from the University of Illinois Chicago.
After the inspiring panel, we will all take action together for climate change!
The session will also provide attendees with free tools and resources to support Green Teams and communities of faith & spirituality to build climate resilience.
