Session 5: Healing Centered Justice

Justice work and healing work are inseparable. This session will explore this intersection and how people of faith and spirituality embody the two in their communal lives. The first part of the session will welcome two speakers, Annabeth Roeschley (they/she), Executive Director of the Brethren Mennonite Council (BMC) for LGBTQ Interests, and Karen Simms, Program Director for Trauma & Resilience Initiative, Inc. to explore the intersection between healing and justice. Then, we will have a guided compassion practice, led by Chetna Mehta, allowing us to practice healing together.
